SINGAPORE, February 21 (Asia Cruise News): Germany’s TUI Cruises is set to offer Asian cruises for the first time from next year. The company is doubling its fleet size to four ships in the coming couple of years and its vessel, Mien Schiff 1 will base itself in Singapore in November next year for three itineraries to Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia.
“With four ships and a total capacity of 8,848 beds, we are in an even better position to satisfy the demand for Mediterranean and Northern European travel, and we can now offer Mein Schiff fans new travel experiences with routes to Asia,” said Richard J. Vogel, ceo of TUI Cruises.
Elsewhere in its recently released 2015/2016 schedules TUI Cruises has announced that the ship Mein Schiff 2 will spend its 2015 winter in Dubai will sailings to around the UAE, Oman and Bahrain.
